Cookeville, TN. – The Humane Society of Putnam County is seeking a current 501c(3) organization or governmental agency to assume operation of the Major Michael Shipley Memorial Spay Neuter Clinic. Cookeville, TN. – The Humane Society of Putnam County board of directors have made the difficult decision to temporarily cease operating the Major Michael Shipley Memorial Spay Neuter Clinic. At this time, we are initiating a thorough review of finances, staffing and management in order to ensure a sustainable business model for the future.
We recognize the value of this asset to the community and look forward to sharing news of our progress toward re-opening.
